Industry Capability Network (ICN) and the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Hub (ARM Hub) today announced a strategic partnership designed to accelerate the competitiveness of Australian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through advanced manufacturing technologies and industry capability development.

The partnership, announced at the CEDA AI Leadership Summit in Brisbane, will see both organisations collaborate on promotion, joint thought leadership, research initiatives, and access to programs and accelerators for their respective networks.

“This partnership represents a significant opportunity to connect Australian manufacturers with cutting-edge advanced manufacturing capabilities,” said Warren Jansen, CEO, ICN National Office. “By combining ICN’s extensive industry network and supplier development expertise with ARM Hub’s world-class robotics and Industry 5.0 knowledge, we can help more Australian SMEs compete on the global stage and access opportunities in major projects.”

The collaboration will provide ICN subscribers with access to ARM Hub’s programs and accelerators, while ARM Hub members will benefit from ICN’s industry connections, data insights, and supplier support.

Professor Cori Stewart, CEO of ARM Hub, said: “Australian manufacturers are at a pivotal moment where adopting advanced technologies is essential for growth and competitiveness. Through this partnership with ICN, we can reach more SMEs across the country and help them integrate robotics, AI, and advanced manufacturing solutions into their operations. Together, we’re building a stronger, more capable manufacturing sector.”

The partnership comes at a crucial time as Australian manufacturers seek to enhance their digital capabilities and adopt advanced technologies to remain competitive in an increasingly complex global market. Opportunities to be communicated through their respective networks over the coming months.
